Access conditions
Sciences Po Grenoble offers some twenty graduate programs accessible via the fourth-year entrance exam, leading to the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Grenoble Master's degree.
Students in their 3rd year at Sciences Po Grenoble follow an early recruitment procedure.
Entrance to the program is by competitive examination, based on a portfolio presented by each candidate. It is possible to apply for 2 different courses.
This includes precise information (in particular, results from previous years) and a "candidate project" outlining, according to the standards set each year (see the Sciences Po Grenoble website at the start of the calendar year), the candidate's personal background, scientific references, career plans and expectations for their training at Sciences Po Grenoble.
Following examination of the application, candidates are placed in order of merit on an eligibility list. Admission is then decided after an interview with a panel of judges in the specialization(s) applied for.
Target audience :
All students with a bachelor's degree or equivalent (180 ECTS credits), validated or in the process of being validated.
Continuing education students should contact the relevant department at the school.
Online application form
All documents must be submitted via the application. No postal submissions will be accepted!
Administrative documents :
- official transcripts corresponding to the 3 years making up the Bachelor's degree (a single file containing all transcripts must be submitted)
For current Bachelor's degrees: official transcripts corresponding to the first 2 years + current year's school certificate
- If you hold a bachelor's degree from a non-European university, please make sure to provide us with BA Diploma Certificate
- Curriculum Vitae
The "candidate project" consists of 3 parts:
- outline of the candidate's personal, academic (schooling), associative or commitment(s), and professional background (with particular emphasis on relevant experience) - 2 pages maximum, in Times New Roman, 12, spacing 1.5
- a scientific project: a summary presentation of the authors and scientific works mastered by the candidate concerning the issues or professional sector targeted by the course. Candidates should particularly emphasize the contribution of these authors and works to their thinking and projects - 2 pages maximum, in Times New Roman, 12, 1.5pt spacing.
- professional prospects (sector(s), profession(s), internship(s), area(s) of specialization, etc.) targeted by the candidate. What are the expectations of the course? What skills are expected, and how will they complement those already acquired? How will this course enable the candidate to achieve his or her goals? Drawing on experience in these sectors and any personal contacts you may have made, you should specify the professions and structures envisaged for the first jobs - 2 pages maximum, in Times New Roman, 12, 1.5 spacing.
