Visiting professors

Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA, Institut d'études politiques, is pleased to announce a number of visiting professorships for 2024-2025 and to invite applications, until April 1, 2024. 

Visiting professorships are open to any faculty member who currently holds a full-time position at a university. Candidates must have distinguished scientific achievements in a field of study taught at Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA: Political Science, Law, Economics, Public and Business Administration, History and Sociology, and a strong teaching record. The visitor will be fully integrated into the academic and intellectual life of the Institute. Priority will be given to new or recent collaborations.

In addition to a teaching activity of a minimum of 11 hours per month, which can take place between September 9, 2024 and December 20, 2024, or between January 6, 2025 and June 27, 2025, the stay also includes research-related activities in collaboration with Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA researchers: a small research "workshop" as well as a public lecture for all students and staff and a contribution to the Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA blog.

Solutions will be considered if the visiting professor's physical stay in Grenoble is prevented by national constraints linked to the global health crisis.

Remuneration is in line with French university faculty conditions. Travel and accommodation expenses are not covered by Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA.

Applications are open for a period of one to several months.
