Who are we?

"Opening up to worlds

Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA offers an ambitious five-year program designed to train tomorrow's decision-makers. With all the advantages of a "grande école", our institute, as a component institution with legal personality, participates in the development of the Université Grenoble Alpes. It stands out for the multidisciplinary nature of its training (political science, law, economics, management, history, sociology and languages), its international focus and the strength of its social science research.

Housed in a completely renovated building, in the heart of a university estate considered one of the most beautiful in Europe, Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA is committed to adapting its training offer to the challenges of a world in constant transformation: the emphasis is on internationalization, professionalization, digital development and innovation through the creation of Chairs or a Policy Lab...

From local and national presence to international influence

Our establishment actively contributes to the reputation of Grenoble's university campus and the dynamism of its metropolis.

Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA is part of the network of ten Sciences Po institutes, and stands out for the quality and volume of research activities carried out by the laboratories under its shared supervision: UMR Pacte, France's largest social science research center, CERDAP2 and CESICE. Its documentation center has been one of the most important national resource centers for political science since the 1960s.
Sciences Po Grenoble-UGA boasts a very high level of internationalization, both in terms of student exchanges and teaching and research staff.
