NewSpace New City MUN CONFERENCE
AlpesMUN, in partnership with the New Space New City project, is organizing an exceptional United Nations simulation on the theme of space, offering participants the opportunity to play the role of representatives of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs.
This simulation will address a key question: " Promoting the inclusion of non-state actors in space governance to foster the sustainability of urban areas and ecosystems ". From climate resilience to intelligent mobility, from satellite-driven urban planning to the ethics of space governance, NewSpace is transforming our world.
This exercise, open to everyone from beginners to experts, will be entirely in English , and will enable participants to explore the issues of space diplomacy, satellite-driven urban planning, intelligent mobility and the ethics of space governance.
Why take part?
→ Develop skills in international negotiation and decision-making
→ Contribute to discussions on the governance of tomorrow's cities
→ Exchange ideas with participants from a wide range of backgrounds on concrete issues.
The simulation will take place in pairs or solo, and will be followed by a convivial moment over a buffet.
The future of cities is being played out from space. Are you ready to take part in the debate?
