Training

The "European Governance" distance learning diploma specialization is directly inspired by the classroom system.

Our training is aimed at two types of audience:

Initial training

additional training, building a double degree, further studies, professionalization year (internship)...

Continuing education

employees, professional reorientation, resumption of studies as part of a lifelong learning approach.

The IEP diploma is awarded in two years (A4 & A5).

The first year (A4) covers the theoretical fundamentals of integration, while the second year (A5) deals with much more practical aspects of training. In year 5, students can choose between a professional or research pathway.
The research pathway enables students to write a dissertation and/or to consider progressing towards a doctoral thesis. Access to this pathway is selective.

The "European Governance" distance learning course is multi-disciplinary: law, economics, political science, sociology and history.

Start of training: mid-October 2024.
End of training: end of August / beginning of September 2025.

Students are assessed by means of continuous assessments (to be handed in during the semester), as well as by end-of-semester exam periods (3 days at the end of January/beginning of February, then at the end of May/beginning of June, and possibly 3 days at the end of August in the case of catch-up exams) on the premises of Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA. Attendance at exams is compulsory.

Teaching materials are made available via an e-learning platform (Chamilo). You have the flexibility to work at your own pace, taking into account your personal and/or professional constraints, as long as you respect the course's obligations and important dates (an academic calendar and deadlines must be respected).

Each A4 and A5 training year consists of 60 credits. The years are spread over two semesters in the academic year.

Please note: All courses are compulsory. If you are absent from a class (for ongoing tests or end-of-semester exams), you must justify your absence to the course secretariat.

Prerequisites and teaching methods

Teaching methods

The "European Governance" distance learning program is delivered via a teaching platform and offers each student administrative and pedagogical support.

The training calendar is posted online at the start of the academic year.

Courses can be synchronous, with videoconferencing enabling real-time exchanges with teachers, or asynchronous, enabling students to learn independently and at their own pace, using the teaching resources available 24/7 on the e-learning platform (course materials, videos, various appendices, etc.).
