Research at Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA
Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA's research policy is based on four key objectives: to provide human, financial and material support for the School's research activities; to support the development of high-level research, rooted in international scientific networks; to disseminate and strengthen the research culture at all levels, among teachers and students alike; and to encourage the practice of interdisciplinarity in the service of a science that is open to society.
Research policy is led by the institution's Vice President for Research, in close collaboration with the Vice Presidents for Research of the other components of Université Grenoble Alpes, as well as with the following laboratories research laboratories of which Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA is the associate supervisor or in which its teacher-researchers are active. Questions relating to the School's research policy are discussed within the Scientific Commission which plays an advisory, programming and evaluation role.
The Research Vice-Presidency of Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA coordinates the activities of the Research and Teaching Chairs as well as the hosting of Visiting Professors visiting professors. She has a budget to support research activities, distributed in the form of a seed fund for advanced teachers and students. It coordinates research Education at Master's level within the framework of the Label Recherche and oversees the school's "open science" policy. Finally, once a month, it organizes the Rendez-vous de la Recherche, enabling members of the Faculty to present their work in public.
