Certificate of Political Studies (CEP EAD)

Description

The Certificate in Political Studies (CEP) is a one-year academic program leading to a certificate from Sciences Po Grenoble – UGA.
 

This100% distance Education follows a university calendar from September to May and is designed for structured, progressive learning throughout the year. It combines independent study with videoconference sessions and regular assignments.
 

All educational content and resources are accessible via a digital platform, designed as a website dedicated to Education, offering each participant a centralized and intuitive place to consult materials, track their progress, and access various methodological tools. 

The CEP distance learning program offers 9 online teaching modules, spread over two semesters, as well as a dissertation. Modules run from September to December and from January to May.
Education is based on the undergraduate curriculum at Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA, and provides a multi-disciplinary knowledge base.

Assessment is based on continuous evaluation, with an average of one assignment per week, requiring regular effort and proficiency with digital tools. The Education with a final oral exam conducted remotely. The thesis will also be defended at the end of Education, with the possibility of a remote defense.

The distance learning courses for the "Certificate in Political Studies" are delivered via an e-learning platform in various formats: mainly written courses, supplemented by videoconferences, and weekly assignments.

Prerequisites for taking the Education

• Being able to devote a minimum amount of time and investment each week,

• Have suitable computer equipment and knowledge of office software.

• Have a good quality internet connection and a working camera for participating in videoconferences.

• Know how to work independently and/or collaboratively with classmates to complete certain assignments.

• Have a quiet, suitable space where you can follow classes and participate in videoconferences in good conditions.

• Do not hesitate to raise the alarm if you encounter any difficulties or have any questions.
   

Job opportunities

The CEP distance learning program is a year-long preparatory program for resuming one's studies, particularly in multi-disciplinary courses. It provides the foundations of an institute of political studies. Following this year, opportunities may arise in higher education. For example, some students go on to take the 4th year of the GE or MMO distance-learning courses, which enable them to obtain a degree from Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA.
This Education enables students to consolidate the knowledge they need to access jobs related to social issues (NGOs, educators, doctors, military personnel, etc.).
 

Lastly, the CEP EAD can be used to consolidate files for VAE or VAPP applications.
