The Zero Net Artificialization objective put to the test of its territorialization: what governance of agricultural land between public action and collective action?

The preservation of agricultural land has been a major issue for public policy since the 2000s. The zero net artificialization (ZAN) objective introduced by the Climate and Resilience Act of August 2021, bears witness to the interest shown by public policies in preserving agricultural land. The 50% reduction in the consumption of agricultural, natural and forest land by 2030, an ambitious objective for sub-territorial levels, implies reconsidering current ways of managing agricultural land in order to preserve it and guarantee certain of its uses whose social and ecological interest is recognized.

This study day is part of the MAFATE project - MAtriser les usages d'un Foncier Agricole en TEnsion - financed by Labex ITTEM and bringing together local players from the greater Grenoble region.
