EM - Risk management and safety and security management

This EM is set against the backdrop of changes in the sector, the growing interweaving of public and private security professions, and the resulting partnerships between a wide range of players (public security managers, social housing managers, private security providers, association managers, flow or major facility managers, etc.).

Description and target audience

This course, which combines face-to-face and distance learning, enables you to develop your skills in the field of safety in public and private spaces, while continuing your professional activity.

 

Target audience: 

  • Local elected officials in charge of prevention and safety issues
  • Public and private prevention and security professionals
  • Security managers in companies, supermarkets, public service delegates, large-scale facilities, event managers, etc.

 

Prerequisites :

A minimum of 3 or 5 years' experience and a bac+3 diploma are required (exemption via VAPP possible).

-Manage a private or public structure in charge of safety management in a multi-player context

-Mobilize risk management tools, methods and systems

 

Management and crisis management in the security field

-Developing and leading a crisis management culture

-Developing and implementing a crisis communications strategy

-Designing, planning and implementing a crisis recovery plan

Program

Modules :

  • State of threats and insecurity (one-week face-to-face course at IEP Grenoble)
  • Management, public and private players and security law in France (distance learning)
  • Concepts and tools for risk management, program measurement and evaluation (distance learning)
  • Field visits (optional module in Paris)
  • Crisis management (one-week face-to-face course at IEP Grenoble)

In practice

Format: 5-module hybrid course alternating distance learning and face-to-face sessions. 

Duration: 138 hours over 10 months.

Fee: €6,000 if paid by a third party

or €3,000 in the case of self-payment
