During Ukraine Days at Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA, two third-year students, Anna Solon and Juliette Souchu, members of the student association École ici et maintenant ! (EIM!), launched a fundraiser to help Ukrainian children.

École Ici et Maintenant ! (EIM !) is a homework assistance association that fights against the educational and social exclusion of children living in extreme poverty who live or have lived in squats or slums in the Grenoble metropolitan area. "Every week, we support children who are often socially isolated and for whom school can be difficult," explains Anna Solon. "When the Ukraine Days were organized, we wanted to create a link with a similar initiative there."

The two students then took the initiative to set up a simple fundraising campaign that was accessible to everyone. "We organized bake sales at Sciences Po to raise money, and we also created an online donation page via HelloAsso," explains Juliette Souchu.

The funds raised will be donated to the Merezhyvo Foundation. In the Sumy region, which is regularly hit by bombing, the foundation organizes food and hygiene product distributions, as well as first aid training and blood donations. It also runs a reception center for children and families, where psychologists and social workers provide support to the most vulnerable.
