École Ici et Maintenant ! (EIM!) is a homework assistance association that fights against the educational and social exclusion of children living in extreme poverty who live or have lived in squats or slums in the Grenoble metropolitan area.
Every week, volunteers from the association (students from all walks of life) visit the children's homes to help them for one or two hours with their homework, learning French, and improving certain areas where they may have gaps in their knowledge, such as reading or writing.
This is a weekly academic and educational support program. Beyond helping with homework, it is above all a time to interact with the children, play together, laugh, and always have fun.
