Sciences Po Grenoble – UGA Outlines Its 2025–2030 Roadmap
With its 2025–2030 institutional plan, Sciences Po Grenoble – UGA has set a bold goal: to fully embrace its role as a leading social sciences institution in the face of contemporary democratic, social, and ecological transformations. Led by the new administration that took office in 2025, this plan engages the entire academic community in a collective, demanding, and forward-looking endeavor.
First priority: strengthening the link between teaching and research in the service of society.
The Education at Sciences Po Grenoble – UGA is designed to help students understand the world so they can better shape it. The institution’s mission thus places the integration of teaching and research at the heart of its academic vision. The educational reforms underway aim to enhance the coherence and clarity of degree programs, empower students to take greater ownership of their Education strengthen the integration of research starting in the undergraduate level. The goal is to produce graduates with strong analytical skills, capable of applying knowledge in the social sciences to serve the public interest.
Second priority: building a strong, inclusive community dedicated to democracy and quality of life.
The administration has opted for a democratic governance model based on collegiality, transparency, and dialogue among all segments of the institution. Improving working and learning conditions, modernizing administrative processes, and data-driven management are designed to empower a community that is recognized, respected, and fully engaged in institutional life. This choice reflects a strong political conviction: the quality of public higher education depends on the trust and commitment of those who bring it to life.
Third priority: to make Sciences Po Grenoble – UGA a pioneering and exemplary institution in the field of social and ecological transformation.
In the face of the climate emergency and persistent social inequalities, Sciences Po Grenoble – UGA bears a special responsibility. The institution is committed to an ambitious path of ecological transformation, aligned with goals of social justice, equality, diversity, and inclusion. This approach is based on concrete, measurable, and collectively developed commitments, and on the determination to demonstrate that a higher education institution can be a model for the transition.
Fourth priority: to enhance the Institute’s visibility at the local, national, and international levels.
Finally, the 2025–2030 plan aims to make the core identity of Sciences Po Grenoble – UGA more visible and easier to understand. By highlighting the diversity and quality of its research, developing its partnerships, and strengthening its Education offerings, the Institute affirms its identity as an open, pluralistic, and engaged institution.
