Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA welcomes its distance learning students

Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA is hosting a three-day event for fourth- and fifth-year students enrolled in the Mediterranean Middle East and European Governance distance learning programs.

They are coming to take their first semester exams. This is a special moment, as they usually attend classes via their educational platform, videoconferencing, and databases provided by the documentation center. On Monday morning, around a hundred of them came to discover the institute, their classmates, and the teaching staff. A welcome reception was organized for the occasion, and the Deputy Director, Gilles Bastin, gave a welcome speech.

During these three days, students take the opportunity to meet with their teachers, discuss their research projects, and finalize the topic of their professional thesis. They will defend their work by the end of August at the latest.

Distance learning is open to students in Education and Education . Starting in the 2026 academic year, a third distance learning program will be offered, focusing on ecological transition.
