Yves SCHEMEIL

Biography

Yves Schemeil is a professor emeritus of political science. He has conducted research on democracy in France, Switzerland, the United States, and Japan. He is an honorary member of the Institut Universitaire de France. He has held various positions at the CNRS, the International Political Science Association (IPSA), and the AFSP. He has taught courses in sociology, anthropology, political theory, comparative politics, global politics, and epistemology in France, the United States (Berkeley, UCLA, Chicago), Lebanon, Egypt, Switzerland, and Japan.
