A look back at the 2025 edition of La Nuit de la crise (The Night of the Crisis) at Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA

As part of La Nuit de la crise (Crisis Night), which took place yesterday, a crisis management simulation was carried out by students from the Administrative and Judicial Careers program and the Political and Institutional Communication program led by Haithem Guizani, under the coordination of Camille Chaussinand.

Unfolding

A fictional scenario was proposed: anarchist activists broke into the departmental operations center after a cyberattack targeting the Isère Prefecture during the 2026 municipal elections. In a geopolitical context marked by repeated attacks against public institutions, this exercise served as a reminder of the importance of strengthening crisis management capabilities within government agencies.

The students worked for three months to prepare this simulation, focusing in particular on the scenario, monitoring, and communication.

The preparation of this simulation was supported by numerous partners, including the Prefecture of Isère, ANSSI (the French National Cybersecurity Agency), Grenoble Public Prosecutor Étienne Manteaux, the National Gendarmerie, and two members of parliament, Camille Galliard-Minier and Cyrielle Chatelain, who were responsible for introducing the exercise.
