"We are particularly committed to strengthening the link between Education and research in the service of society. We need to help our students understand the world in which they live, and in which they will one day hold positions of power, responsibility and influence. The research we produce in our laboratories helps us to understand this world. It also enables us to support our students so that they can change it, in the service of all: they must be able to listen and exchange with society as a whole. We will continue to be a Grande école open to the world, thanks in particular to our specific competitive entrance exam, which enables us to be more socially open and diverse, and to reach out to all regions, especially the most fragile rural and urban areas. It's an honor and a source of pride. Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA has 13% of its students on scholarship from secondary schools (the most disadvantaged) and around 40% on scholarship from higher education. It's an honor and a source of pride.

Mark your calendars!

On Monday October 20, Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA is organizing its first MaTerrathon (My Earth in 180 minutes), a large-scale collaborative event mobilizing over 200 students and the majority of its staff to play together and find the right compromises to reduce the school's carbon footprint. The afternoon is open to all, with conferences led by experts in the geosciences, socio-ecosystem transitions, social behaviors, and the political and democratic stakes of the ecological transition. The afternoon is open to the public, and everyone is welcome!
