Anna Jeannesson is an English instructor at Sciences Po Grenoble – UGA and the head of international mobility within the Office of International Relations. In this role, she supports nearly 200 international students who come to Sciences Po Grenoble – UGA each year for a semester or an academic year, as well as approximately 220 students from the institution who go to study abroad.

Of British origin and also a French citizen, her career has been deeply shaped by her international background. She arrived in France 35 years ago as an Erasmus student at Sciences Po Grenoble in 1991, and she has never truly left that journey at the institution behind. She continued her studies with a DEA in English, specializing in the analysis of political discourse, before passing the CAPES exam and joining the French national education system as a higher education instructor.

Today, her role at Sciences Po Grenoble – UGA—beyond teaching—is to support students before, during, and after their study abroad experiences.

Outside of college, she enjoys cross-country skiing and sailing. In particular, she spent three years sailing around the Mediterranean and then across the Atlantic between 1997 and 2000.
