Sandrine VERNET, Administrative Director of International Relations

VERNET-Sandrine-WEB.jpg

With a postgraduate degree (DESS) in Education, Sandrine VERNET began her career in civil protection as a trainer for firefighter instructors and educational supervisors. She then joined the civil service 22 years ago to continue her work in the field of education, spending her first nine years in the Office of International Relations at Pierre Mendès-France University.

Upon joining Sciences Po Grenoble – UGA in 2013, she expanded her scope of responsibilities by taking charge of the new DISCOVEC unit, which oversees “Academic Affairs, Student Life, Career Services, and Education .”
Having quickly caught the bug, she took over as director of the International Relations Office at Sciences Po Grenoble – UGA in 2015, a role she continues to lead today with joy and dedication, supported by a competent and “radiant” team.

Having benefited from the enriching experience of growing alongside numerous attentive and inspiring teams—both those in leadership roles and those they support—Sandrine Vernet now thrives in her role at an institution driven by strong values and a meaningful impact. Working to improve the world for and through the students, staff, and partners of Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA allows her to contribute in her own way, alongside many others, to building a more solid, serene, and enthusiastic future in an increasingly complex and challenging environment.
