Florent GOUGOU, Senior Lecturer in Political Science

Florent GOUGOU has been an associate professor of political science at Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA since 2016. He has served as the school’s Vice President for Ecological Transformation since September 2025 and has co-directed the Ecological Transitions program since September 2020, a program he founded alongside several colleagues. On secondment from the CNRS to Progedo for the 2025–2026 academic year, he is conducting research on major electoral trends in Western Europe and on the functioning of democracy, particularly in relation to ecological issues.
