Over the course of three days, researchers from Europe, Argentina, Australia, Chile, China, Costa Rica, and the United States compared their approaches in political science, sociology, economics, psychology, communication studies, and social psychology to advance research on perceptions of income and wealth inequality.
 

Over the course of three days, the conference was organized around six major themes focused on representations of economic inequality. Researchers addressed a variety of topics, including perceptions of inequality, issues of social justice and redistribution, inequality in political life, and the role of the media in shaping representations of inequality.
 

The discussions were also enriched by contributions from journalists and government officials, who shed light on how economic inequalities are portrayed in public discourse.
 

At the conclusion of the conference, the participants summarized the key takeaways from the three-day event and identified new avenues for research. They also reaffirmed their commitment to continuing and strengthening the international collaboration initiated during the conference.
