Margaux Terrou, sexologist and author of La Malbaise, moderated the conference, sharing her views as a woman and sexual health professional on the crisis of sexuality and how feminism, pornographic culture and societal mutations are redefining our expectations, frustrations and power relationships.

Men are victims of performance injunctions, and women are fed "be beautiful and shut up", while inflicting bodily pain on themselves to meet certain social imperatives.

During her talk, the author stressed the importance of considering sexuality as a social and political issue: "Intimacy is political". She reminded us of the difficulties encountered by specialized institutions such as maternity wards and family planning centers, and in general, those linked to the issue of sex education.

Margaux Terrou also highlighted the intrinsic link between mental and sexual health, pointing out that there is a tendency to dissociate sexual and mental health, even though mental ill-being has an impact on sexual health.

A powerful discussion that questions our societies and our intimate lives.
