Why these Research Meetings?
Designed as regular opportunities for faculty and researchers to connect with students, staff, and the institution’s partners, these events aim to make research visible, accessible, and fully integrated into the academic community of the institution and the University of Grenoble Alpes.
Each “Rendez-vous de la Recherche” event consists of two 15-minute presentations, followed by an open discussion, to learn about ongoing projects, recent publications, and the latest scientific developments at the Faculty of Teaching and Research at Sciences Po Grenoble – UGA.
Beyond presenting scientific findings, the Rendez-vous de la Recherche places a strong emphasis on exchange and group discussion. The format encourages direct interaction between speakers and participants in an atmosphere that fosters intellectual dialogue and scientific curiosity.
Led by the Vice Presidency for Research, this initiative is fully aligned with the academic mission of Sciences Po Grenoble – UGA: to strengthen the link between research, teaching, and society; to support the generation of knowledge; and to encourage interdisciplinarity.
Held around the last Tuesday of each month in a deliberately brief, friendly, and interactive format, “Les Rendez-vous de la Recherche” was successfully piloted throughout the 2025–2026 academic year. Building on the success of this first season, the series will continue for the 2026–2027 academic year with the launch of its second season.
