Teaching Faculty - Welcome to Priscilla LAYNE

Priscilla Layne is a professor of German at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and director of the Center for European Studies. She is also an adjunct associate professor in African, African American, and Diaspora Studies.

 

On February 23, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at Sciences Po Grenoble – UGA (room 138), Priscilla Layne (UNC Chapel Hill) will give a lecture entitled "Confronting Latin America's Complicity in Fascism, " which will offer an analysis of the Lucía Puenzo's film The German Doctor (2013) by Lucía Puenzo in order to examine the representation of Nazi fugitives, their supporters, and the lingering legacies of eugenics and fascist ideology outside of Europe.
