Biography

Riccardo Bulgarelli is an assistant professor of history at Sciences Po Grenoble and a doctoral candidate at the EUI in Florence. His research focuses on the politicization of homosexuality in Europe in the 1970s, with a particular emphasis on Italy. He studies transnational activist networks and the ways in which political thought is translated by subjectivities with diverse intersectional profiles. His areas of expertise include the history of gender and sexualities, oral history, translocal history, and the history of social movements in Europe.
